Ghost Kitchen Software You Build Yourself: Direct Ordering, Brand Sites and One Sales View

Mythex lets a delivery-only kitchen build its own direct ordering store across several virtual brands, a site for each brand, and a dashboard that puts sales from every delivery app side by side after commission. Describe your brands and line in chat, see it in a live preview, and publish it with a database behind it.

Four tablets, three brands, no single number

A delivery-only kitchen cooks for several virtual brands on one line and sells through several apps, each with its own tablet, menu editor, commission and payout report. Knowing what you actually earned last Friday means stitching exports together. Ingredients are shared, so when the brioche runs out, the burger brand and the breakfast brand both need switching off at once. The apps keep customer details, which makes every direct customer worth looking after. And with no dining room, the packing station is the front of house: a missing sauce becomes a refund and a one-star rating.

  • Sales per brand and per platform, net of commission
  • A direct ordering channel you control
  • Menu items linked to shared ingredients and packaging
  • Orders by hour to plan prep and packers
  • Weekly payout checks against order reports
  • Allergen details per dish, noting one shared kitchen

What you can build for delivery-only kitchens

Direct ordering that switches off a dish everywhere

Each brand has its own menu with shared modifiers like sides and drinks. Items link to the ingredients they use, so marking one ingredient out hides every dish that needs it across all brands. When orders pass a level you set, new orders get a longer prep time or pause.

Build a direct ordering store for my delivery kitchen with three brands, each with its own menu and branding. Items share modifiers (sides, drinks, sauces) and are linked to ingredients. When I mark an ingredient as out, every item using it becomes unavailable on all brands. Offer pickup and local delivery, and pause new orders when more than 25 are in the queue.

Every app's sales on one screen, after fees

Upload each platform's order and payout exports and see gross and net sales per brand and per platform, orders by hour, and refund rates per brand. A brand that looks busy on the tablet can turn out to earn the least.

Make a dashboard for my ghost kitchen. I upload CSV order and payout exports from each delivery platform. Show gross sales, commission and net revenue by brand and platform, orders by hour of day, and refunds per brand, plus direct orders from our own store.

A brand site customers actually choose

Each virtual brand gets its own page with photos, tone and delivery hours, plus links to order direct and on each app. Allergens are listed per dish with a clear note that one kitchen prepares every brand.

Create a website with a separate page for each of my delivery brands (a smash burger brand, a rice bowl brand, a breakfast brand), each with its own colours, menu highlights, delivery hours and radius, an order direct button and links to the delivery apps. Show allergens per dish and a shared-kitchen allergen note.

Shared ingredients and branded boxes counted together

Ingredients mapped to the dishes and brands that use them, par levels for each prep item before lunch and dinner, branded packaging tracked like food, and waste logged by item and reason.

Build an inventory app for a delivery-only kitchen. Track ingredients with par levels for lunch and dinner prep, map them to dishes and brands, track branded packaging per brand, and log waste with item, quantity and reason. Show what is below par before each service.

Direct customers you do not have to share

Order history across brands, catering clients with their usual office order, complaints and refunds per order, and marketing consent, so a lapsed customer gets a welcome-back code instead of drifting back to the apps.

Create a CRM for my ghost kitchen's direct customers with order history across all brands, marketing consent, complaints and refunds, and office catering clients with their usual order. List customers who have not ordered in 30 days.

Stations, prep and a packer at peak

Line cooks assigned by station since brands share the grill and fryer, prep shifts ahead of lunch and dinner, a dedicated packer on busy evenings, and cover for late-night trading.

Make a staff schedule for a delivery kitchen with stations (grill, fryer, cold, pack), prep shifts before 11:00 and 17:00, a packer on every shift from 18:00 to 22:00 on Thursday to Saturday, and late-night cover until 01:00 at weekends.

Moving customers from the apps to direct

Put a card with a direct-order code in every app bag and send it to a landing page for that brand with a first-order offer and a delivery zone checker. Track how many codes are used each week. Even a small share of regulars moving over changes margins, because those orders carry no commission.

  • One landing page per brand
  • Postcode or address zone checker
  • Redemption count per week

Reconcile payouts weekly, not quarterly

Each app deducts commission, promotions and refunds its own way. An invoicing app can hold catering invoices and credit notes alongside a weekly check of each payout against its order report, so a gap is queried while the orders are still fresh.

Questions

Can I run several virtual brands from one app?

Yes. Each brand can have its own menu, look and pages while sharing one kitchen, one ingredient list and one order queue.

Can it pull orders straight from the delivery apps?

The simple route is uploading each platform's CSV exports. A live connection depends on whether the platform gives you API access, which is often limited to approved partners.

Can customers pay online when ordering direct?

Yes. Link a card processor you hold the account with, and the store takes payment at checkout, recording each order with its brand, time and pickup or delivery.

How do I show allergens for a shared kitchen?

List allergens per dish and add a clear note that every brand is prepared in the same kitchen. Check what your local food rules require you to show.

What does it cost?

Starting is free with no card, and a daily allowance of credits covers building the first brand page. Pro is $25 a month if each brand needs its own domain, or you want to edit and export the code.
