Capacity is the product

In a reformer class, the bed is what the client pays for. The booking system must never sell an eleventh spot in a ten-bed room, including when two people tap Book at the same second. Tell Mythex your bed count per room and per class type, and tower or chair classes their own limits. Mat classes can run larger caps on the same timetable.

A waitlist that works at 6am

Most cancellations for early classes happen late the night before or first thing in the morning, when nobody is at the desk. An automatic waitlist offers the spot to the next person, gives them a set time to accept, and moves on. Ask for the offer window to shrink as class time gets closer, so the last spot can still be filled an hour before.

Credits, cancellations and fairness

Write your rules into the system once: credit deducted at booking, refunded if cancelled 12 hours ahead, lost after that or for a no-show. Clients see the rule when they book, and the app applies it the same way for everyone. Add a cap on future bookings per client, so a few unlimited members cannot hold every popular slot weeks ahead.

Getting beginners in safely

New clients on a reformer need an intro first. Block Level 2 classes until the intro is marked complete, ask about injuries and pregnancy at sign-up, and show those notes to the instructor on the class list. This protects the client and keeps mixed classes running at the right pace.
