Mobile App Maker: One Chat, Android and iPhone Apps

Mythex is a mobile app maker that starts with a description: you say what the app does, it builds it with a real database and file storage, and you publish it. On the Pro plan, Mythex then turns that published app into an Android app for Google Play and an iPhone app sent to TestFlight, built on its own machines.

Who it's for

Small businesses, founders and teams who want an app on their customers' or staff's phones without hiring a mobile developer. To be clear about how it works: the phone app opens your published web app, so its screens are web screens. That suits bookings, portals, trackers and team tools well. If you need fully native screens written in Swift or Kotlin, a native app builder is the better fit.

What you can build

  • A booking app customers install for a salon, gym or clinic
  • A loyalty or membership app for a café
  • A field-team checklist with photos saved to storage
  • An order-tracking app for a delivery business
  • A community app with member profiles and events
  • A personal habit or workout tracker

How the mobile app generator works

First you build the app the usual way: describe it, check it in the live preview and publish it. Then ask for the phone version. You can open Publish and pick the Android or iPhone tab, type /mobile in the message box, or just say “make this an Android app”. Each request builds only the platform you asked for, and a card in the chat shows the build's real steps until it is ready.

  • Describe and publish the app
  • Ask for Android, iPhone or both
  • Follow the build card in the chat
  • Download the Android file or open TestFlight

What you get for Android and iPhone

For Android you get an app bundle, the file format Google Play takes. Upload it yourself in Play Console, or connect your own Google service account and each build goes to your internal testing track automatically. For iPhone, Apple requires signing, so you connect an App Store Connect API key from your Apple developer account; Mythex signs the build and uploads it to your TestFlight. In both stores you create the app once on the store's website, and the chat tells you exactly what to enter.

  • Android: a file for Google Play, or straight to internal testing
  • iPhone: signed and sent to TestFlight with your key
  • No Mac, Xcode or Android Studio needed

Publish once, update every phone

Because the phone app opens your published app, a change you publish in Mythex shows up in the app people already installed. Fix a typo, add a screen or change prices in chat, press Publish, and the website and both phone apps show the new version. There is no second codebase to keep in step and no separate team to brief: the chat that built the web app keeps working on the phone apps too.

Is it a free mobile app maker?

Partly. On the Free plan you can build the app, publish it and open it in the browser on any phone, with no credit card. Turning it into Android and iPhone apps is part of Pro at $25/month. Store accounts are separate: Google Play and the Apple Developer Program charge their own fees, which you pay to them directly.

A prompt to start from

Build a phone-first booking app for a hair salon. Customers sign up, pick a stylist, a service and a free time slot, and see their upcoming appointments. The owner logs in to see the day's bookings. Use large buttons, a bottom tab bar and a real database.

Questions

Can Mythex make a real Android and iPhone app?

Yes, on Pro. It wraps your published app as an installable Android app and iPhone app, built on Mythex's build machines. Android builds go to Google Play (by file or straight to internal testing), and iPhone builds go to TestFlight with your App Store Connect key.

Does it write native Swift or Kotlin code?

No. The phone app opens your published web app, so it shares one codebase with your website. That is why every Publish updates it, and why one project covers web, Android and iPhone.

Will my app be on the App Store and Google Play?

Mythex gets the builds into Google Play internal testing and TestFlight, and with your store accounts connected it can help with listings and versions. Anything public, like releasing to production or submitting for App Store review, it asks you first, and the stores review apps themselves.

Do I need to know how to code to make a mobile app?

No. You describe the app and ask for changes in chat, and the phone builds start from a button or a sentence. The only technical step is creating the store accounts and keys, and the chat walks you through it.

Can I get an APK to install directly?

The Android build is an app bundle (AAB), which is what Google Play takes; it can't be installed on a phone directly. To try it on a device, add yourself as an internal tester in Play Console and install it from the Play Store.
