Client Portals, Review Tracking and Fee Invoices for Wealth Managers
Mythex lets a wealth management firm build a secure client portal where valuations, reports and review notes are posted per account, a CRM that links households, trusts and entities and tracks review and risk profile dates, fee invoices that show their calculation, and a site that says plainly who you serve and how you are paid. Describe your firm and publish it.
What a wealth management firm needs from software
A firm looks after a small number of relationships in depth. Each one may include a couple, their adult children, a family company and a trust, all with their own accounts and documents. Reviews happen once or twice a year and generate actions; risk profiles must be refreshed on schedule; accountants and lawyers need to be coordinated at tax year-end. When markets fall, the phones ring with clients asking for a valuation they could have seen themselves. Record-keeping expectations are high. The custody and portfolio systems hold the numbers; the gaps are a client-facing place to see reports and exchange documents, and an internal record of every relationship, review and contact.
- Households linked to individuals, entities and trusts
- Review and risk profile dates with prompts when due
- Secure document exchange per relationship
- Valuations and commentary posted after reviews
- Every client contact logged
- Fees shown with their basis, rate and period
What you can build for wealth management firms
Valuations and review notes clients can open themselves
Clients see valuations and reports you upload, organised by account and date, the notes and agreed actions from each review, and a secure area to exchange tax returns, statements and signed forms. Access is limited to each client and any family members they authorise.
Build a client portal for my wealth management firm. Each household logs in to see reports and valuations we upload, organised by account and date, review meeting notes with agreed actions, and a secure document exchange. Household members only see what the primary client authorises. Log every login and download.
One relationship, many people and entities
Link spouses, children, companies and trusts under one relationship. Track risk profile and review dates with prompts, log every contact for the file, and keep accountants and lawyers who introduce clients as their own records with an introduction count.
Make a CRM for a wealth management firm. Relationships link individuals, companies and trusts. Track risk profile date, next review date and agreed actions, log every call, email and meeting, and keep introducers (accountants, lawyers) with the clients they referred. Show reviews overdue.
Fee invoices clients can check
Fees may be a percentage of assets, a fixed retainer or project-based. Show the value the fee is based on, the rate and the period on every invoice, invoice planning work separately, and record whether each fee was paid or deducted from the portfolio.
Create an invoicing app for a wealth management firm supporting percentage-of-assets fees (showing the valuation basis, rate and period), fixed retainers and project fees for planning work. Record whether each fee was paid by transfer or deducted from the portfolio.
Overdue reviews at the top
Missed reviews are a service problem and often a compliance one. Show reviews overdue, assets under management by adviser and month, new clients by introducer, and fee revenue by client segment.
Make a dashboard for my wealth management firm showing overdue reviews and risk profiles, assets under management by adviser by month from figures we enter or import, new clients by referral source, and fee revenue by segment.
A site that describes your typical client
Say who you serve in concrete terms, such as business owners approaching a sale or retirees drawing income, explain how you are paid, publish adviser profiles with qualifications, and place regulatory disclosures where your rules require them.
Make a website for a wealth management firm describing our typical clients (business owners, families, retirees), how we charge, adviser profiles with qualifications and languages, a page for regulatory disclosures, and an enquiry form that asks about the client's situation rather than balances.
Pages around life events
People search when something happens: selling a business, an inheritance, retirement. A page that names the situation and asks about it, not account balances, gets better responses than a product list.
Build a landing page for business owners planning a sale, explaining how we help before and after the exit, with an enquiry form asking about timing and goals.
Regulation, disclosures and data
Financial firms work under strict rules on what they publish, how they communicate and how long they keep records. Mythex builds what you describe, including logins, private storage, access by household and activity logs, but it does not know your regulator's requirements and claims no certifications. Have your compliance lead review the site wording and the portal's access rules, and check data protection rules before loading live client files.
- Disclosures placed where your rules require
- Per-household access checks
- Contact and document activity logged
Where the numbers come from
Portfolio values come from your custody or portfolio management systems. Mythex does not connect to them unless they offer an API you can use. Most firms export reports as PDFs or CSVs and upload them after each review or market move; the portal then shows the latest position with your commentary.
Questions
Is a Mythex portal secure enough for client financial data?
Ask for login, per-household access checks, private file storage and activity logs, and Mythex builds them in. It does not carry financial-industry certifications, so have your compliance team review it against your rules before loading live data.
Can it show live portfolio valuations?
Only if your portfolio system offers an API you can connect. Otherwise you upload valuations and reports, and clients see the latest one you posted.
Can family members share access?
Yes. Ask for household members with permissions set by the primary client, such as reports only or documents too.
Do I need to code?
No. You describe the portal and change it by chatting. On Pro you can review, edit and export the code.
Is it free?
The Free plan needs no credit card and gives daily credits, enough to build a first version. Pro is $25/month and adds a custom domain.
